For 34 years Clear Lake Performing Arts has worked to instill an appreciation of fine music in the young people of our community and also worked to assist students who are studying music and learning to play an instrument. ��because we understand the profound impact of fine music on a developing mind.�


The Student Programs of Clear Lake Performing Arts - a summary

Clear Lake Performing Arts Youth Orchestra is open to all Lake County children who want to participate in an orchestral group. It currently consists of string students, but in the future may include winds, etc.

The Financial Assistance Program provides financial assistance for individual music students based on merit or financial need. It is also available to schools or groups for special projects.

Elementary school Programs are designed to bring a combination of art, music, and theater presentations to classrooms.

School Concert Program offers middle and high school students music programs featuring CLPA concert series artists.

College Scholarship Program provides scholarships for College or University expenses. The award is $1000 per year of participation. Our budget currently allows for 5 scholarship students. Over $70,000 has been awarded since the inception of the program.

New Music Program made possible by the Lake County Wine Alliance. Lake County youth are lining up to join a new string music program offered by Clear Lake Performing Arts, made possible by a generous grant from the Lake County Wine Alliance. Click here to read about the CLPA Violin Class.
